My Message to the Huron Community
I am proud to announce my candidacy for President in this year’s HUCSC election.
I am a third-year student pursuing a double major in Economics and Political Science, and throughout my time at Huron, I have been deeply involved in student life. Whether through my involvement with Relay for Life or supporting first-year students during orientation, I have witnessed firsthand the strength of our community when students feel supported, represented, and included.
These experiences have shaped my understanding of what effective student leadership should look like. I believe leadership is not defined by titles or visibility alone, but by consistency, accountability, and a genuine commitment to listening to students.
I am running for President because I want to contribute to a student council that operates with transparency, collaboration, and purpose. My goal is to ensure that student voices are not only heard, but reflected in the policies, decisions, and priorities that shape campus life.
Huron’s students deserve leadership that is present, responsive, and willing to evolve alongside the community it serves. I am committed to advocating for meaningful reform, strengthening communication, and fostering an inclusive environment where every student feels empowered to engage.
I encourage all students to participate in this election, reflect on the leadership they want to see, and vote for the vision that best represents the future of our campus.
